Ohio Medicare Consultants was co-founded by insurance professionals Jeff Youngs and Dan Duhl to service residents throughout Ohio with their Medicare needs. Our business is focused on you and helping you understand the many Medicare parts, plans and options available to you. There is no question that the availability of these programs is a significant benefit to each eligible person. Like many benefit programs offered federally, there can be confusion. Ohio Medicare Consultants offers an opportunity for you to speak with one of our consultants/agents where we are committed to making Medicare Simplified. We'll help simplify the complexity of Medicare for you. These consultations are offered at no direct cost to you. We'll learn about your needs, explain the options available to you, and help you through the enrollment and renewal processes. We'll continue to be available after your enrollment or renewal to answer any questions and help facilitate any changes that may be necessary. We are commitment to serving YOU!
What is Medicare?
Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people 65 or over, people under 65 with certain disabilities, and people of all stages of End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant).

Original Medicare - Parts A & B
Part A is Hospital Coverage that covers inpatient hospitalization. You can think of this as it's your room and board when admitted to the hospital. Part B is Medical Coverage for outpatient medical services, such as preventative care, doctor visits, durable medical equipment, outpatient surgeries, ambulance services and medical treatments like chemotherapy.
Medicare Advantage - Part C
Part C is often referred to as Medicare Advantage and offered by approved private insurance companies. These plans provide the same coverage as Part A and Part B, and often include Prescription Drug Coverage, Part D. Some plans may also include dental, vision and hearing, which are not covered in Parts A or Part B. You cannot have Original Medicare and be on an Advantage plan or Medigap Supplement Pla
Prescription Drugs - Part D
Part D Prescription Drug Coverage is offered by approved private insurance companies. Part D helps cover the cost of prescription drugs.
Medigap Supplements - Plans A, B, D, G, K, L, M and N
A Medigap Plan is a Medicare Supplement Plan that helps fill the gaps in coverage of Original Medicare Parts A and B. These plans are sold by approved private insurance companies. The plans offered by different companies are identical.
